This is an experiment expanding on the work found here: Operation G.E.O.
Utilizing the parameters of the shoe made for our client in G.E.O. a scan of my foot was taken and translated into my custom last. to deepen the experiment and test out new processes - everything was done completely in 3D. All patterns were created directly off of the last just as they would be by hand. Next they were flattened, and laser cut directly from the 3d files. Finally they were sewn together and assembled into a real 1:1 custom shoe.
